Training Philosophy
I believe that fitness is a lifelong pursuit of challenging ourselves to be better and truly has no shortcuts. Like most good things in life, it takes time. This means when we work together we focus on a smart progression to your training, building healthy habits, prioritizing adequate recovery, and overall focusing on long term fitness over short term gains. Fitness built this way will stay with you much longer.

It has been shown that the most effective method of exercise to maintain long term fitness is the one that you enjoy, because that is what you will stick to! If you hate the training, you will have a much harder time continuing. This is why I work hard to design a custom program that is tailored to your goals, needs, experience, and utilizing the training methods you enjoy.

In all things fitness we take an 80 / 20 approach. Sticking to your nutrition and training plans 80% of the time is sufficient. It is important to enjoy life during the process!
